We the residents of Heathfield Court E3, petition RMG to look into the general security of the building.
At present, we do not feel safe and secure enough to have our mail delivered and we believe something needs to be done in order to maintain the levels of security.
We demand to see RMG doing something and have seen changes made within the end of Feburary 2020.
I have finalized a formal letter addressed to the RMG regional manager outlining our specific concerns regarding building access. My next step is to coordinate with local area representatives to review the current site security protocols during our scheduled walk-through.
February 3, 2020
The volume of support from residents has reached a level that necessitates an immediate formal escalation. I am currently drafting a letter to RMG management to demand a meeting regarding the specific security failures outlined in our petition.

Flat 8. Christine is also Flat 8.
I have also contacted RMG about upgrading the bin room's locks to a fob system or even just a new lock where only the binmen would have the key. Homeless people have in the past couple of months been breaking into the bin room and making a mess. Please also add this to petition.

Fed up with random people buzzing my flat at all hours. Seen someone sleeping in the hallway twice this week. We pay enough in service charges for this to be sorted out

Most of you may not know this but last sunday at appoximately 2am our building was broken into by three youths who managed to yank the door open quite easily. They were running up and down the stairs and you may have noticed the smell of weed if you are on the first and second floors. called the police and nothing was done (in fact they completely ignored me citing "they only wanted somewere to smoke weed" and promplty walked off. They could have kicked in the door of any one of our homes and god knows what would have happend.
As well as the bin room (which i live above) being broken into and left in a mess and i know some other residents are partially responsible. So may i please ask that you add these two things to the petition 1. a better lock on the front door (preferably magnetic). and 2. A new lock on the bin room and making sure whoever is responsible actually gives the key to the bin men.
I do not feel safe at all here and have been up allot this past week with worry.
