Fed up with random people buzzing my flat at all hours. Seen someone sleeping in the hallway twice this week. We pay enough in service charges for this to be sorted out

Flat 8. Christine is also Flat 8.
I have also contacted RMG about upgrading the bin room's locks to a fob system or even just a new lock where only the binmen would have the key. Homeless people have in the past couple of months been breaking into the bin room and making a mess. Please also add this to petition.

Most of you may not know this but last sunday at appoximately 2am our building was broken into by three youths who managed to yank the door open quite easily. They were running up and down the stairs and you may have noticed the smell of weed if you are on the first and second floors. called the police and nothing was done (in fact they completely ignored me citing "they only wanted somewere to smoke weed" and promplty walked off. They could have kicked in the door of any one of our homes and god knows what would have happend.
As well as the bin room (which i live above) being broken into and left in a mess and i know some other residents are partially responsible. So may i please ask that you add these two things to the petition 1. a better lock on the front door (preferably magnetic). and 2. A new lock on the bin room and making sure whoever is responsible actually gives the key to the bin men.
I do not feel safe at all here and have been up allot this past week with worry.

I believe that we require better and more secure post boxes. The ones we currently have installed have required most people to change the locks to more secure ones, but they are still being broken in to. This is a company I have used before and know that they have very secure letterboxes which are also fire rated. https://safetyletterbox.com/freestanding-mailboxes/
I also believe that we should have less visibility from the side streets into our secure car park. If you look at our neighbouring building Bevan Court, they have full height metal screens up around the car park which means passers-by are unable to see what is inside. We have had many bikes stolen from there and I have been told by RMG in the past that this is due to people pulling the doors open which in turn breaks the doors. By adding full-height screen as per Bevan Court, we can reduce the number of temptations and break-ins, again making the building and the residents feel more secure.
The front door has been the cause of many security risks over the last 5 years I have lived in Heathfield Court. There have been times that it has not been properly shutting, meaning the door is open all the time, and also times when it would not open at all, meaning residents had to leave via the bin store or via the car park. I believe that a full survey should be done on the door and the entry system and replaced for something more hardwearing. I also believe this would cause fewer issues in the future, saving money in the long run. Having a properly secure front door is the number one issue I have had with Heathfield court over the past 5 years and I believe this should be RMGs main focus.
