I have been spending my evenings watching the traffic at the intersection and the near misses are becoming impossible to ignore. People keep telling me their own stories of close calls at this crossing and it is exhausting to realize how many of us have been worried about this for so long. I am still pushing for a response from the city because we cannot afford to wait for a tragedy to happen.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels heavy because it confirms how many of us worry about crossing those streets every single day. I am exhausted by the constant near misses but this response proves that we are finally being taken seriously.

PLEASE!!! That intersection is a nightmare.
Seen way to many near misses here lately. Glad we are finally doing something about it.
I live right on the corner and its only a matter of time before a bad accident happens. Needs a stop sign asap.
People drive way too fast coming around that corner. Scares me to walk my dog there.
About time someone looked into this. My kids ride bikes down that street every day and it is getting dangerous.
