PETITION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF KINGSTON
We the undersigned,
-Concerned residents of the City of Kingston
Draw attention to the Coucil the following;
THAT,
-The council consider the hazardous situation that exists at the intersection of Lincoln, Hudson and Development Drives. That the council recognize the complete disregard for the law shown by many vehicles in said intersection. That the council consider the immediate danger posed to pedestrians, local traffic and most importantly neighbourhood infants and adolescents by these vehicles.
THEREFORE,
Your petitioners call upon council to,
Install Traffic Control Measures in the form of speed humps at each stop sign in the fore mentioned intersection and install additional signage. In addition we call for increased police monitoring of the area.
Upon signing this petition your name will be added to a paper copy for submission to the Kingston City Council

I have been reviewing the anecdotal reports of near-accidents at the intersection of Lincoln and Hudson. These recurring accounts of dangerous driving confirm that we must pursue permanent physical traffic controls to protect our neighborhood.

I'm a witness to these drivers breaking the law. The police need to start ticketing before someone gets seriously hurt..
Ridiculous that nothing has been done about this intersection yet! I saw coverage on this back in February, and it's still going on. Someone is going to get injured, or worse, if something isn't done.
People need to feel safe in their community especially on their own street. It shouldn't take so many signatures in order to have this changed and looked at. Why does everything always have to come to a disaster to happen for people to make places and things more safe. One complaint should be enough to raise your eyebrows and do something to help !!
Our babies deserve to be safe !!
Fix this intersection before you anger Mama bear...my family lives here!!!!!!!!
Ensure the stop sign does what it is supposed to do!! Period.
This intersection is UNSAFE and there is no excuse now with the media coverage and now the petition

Would be nice to be able to play in my front yard without having to always look over my shoulder..................
