We, the undersigned residents of the Forest Pawtuckett Neighborhood do hereby petition the Charlotte Department of Transportation to install a four way STOP SIGN at the intersection of Sullins Road & Pawtuckett Road to slow traffic. There have been numerous accidents at the corner of Sullins Road and Pawtuckett Road in the last six months. Both are major roads in the community of Forest Pawtuckett. It is imperative for the safety of our residents that a 4 – way stop or a red blinker light be installed for this intersection. The following are residents of Forest Pawtuckett who ask the City of Charlotte to look into this as soon as possible. All community residents over the age of 18 are encouraged to sign this petition.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this push for our intersection. This shift is happening only because you decided that our neighbors safety is worth speaking up for.

Horrible intersection. Speeders on Pawtuckett Road couple with restricted visibility makes a bad accident inevitable ... again. There's already been multiple accidents at this location.
We need stop signs at the intersection or speed bumps on Pawtuckett Road, the speeding on Pawtuckett plays into this very dangerous intersection.

I would love to see a 4 way stop sign at the corner of Sullins and Pawtuckett. Speed limit is 25 milrs an hour but people travel a lot faster in that area.
I whole heartedly agree. The traffic without the stop sign speeds through the community as if a drag raceway

This sign has been needed for years. I personally am always uncomfortable when crossing through this intersection for fear of someone hitting me. Not many people abide to the Stop sign currently.
