The traffic on Warsaw Road has greatly increased over the years, as has the speed of the motorists. With the elementary school near by, several large subdivisions, and apartment homes the pedestrian traffic has increased at the same rate as the traffic. There are crosswalks and a good line of sight near the school, however in the area of Warsaw RD and Willow Stream Ct / Worthington Hills Dr there is no such convenience. The downward curve on Warsaw coming from Holcomb Bridge Road creates a dangerous intersection ... cars speeding down the hill, limited sight for motorists entering onto Warsaw Rd, as well as the limited sight available for pedestrians trying to cross the road. This petition is intended to bring forth our concerns to The City of Roswell Department of Transportation in requesting a formal inspection and study of the area in question. With this study we are hoping that the City of Roswell will come to a consensus that the need for traffic control is warranted for the safety of it\'s residents.
