Seekonk High School wants all students to wear the blue graduation cap and gown so there is no gender differentiation. Traditionally, boys wear blue and girls wear white. Let's keep tradition alive and keep the blue and white- the way it's always been
The school administration thought they could bury our traditions in silence but this surge of support proves them wrong. They are terrified of us because they realize they cannot erase our history without a fight.

My high school was once green and white but for my graduation we had to all wear green. I couldn't keep my highschool's tradition alive, so hopefully I can help keep this one alive instead.

Graduating class of 2001 was ALL NAVY BLUE...we were not white and blue. I do however like the white and blue but the tradition has certainly not been as long as some are saying. But why aren't the students the ones who get to decide!

My daughter is graduating from Seekonk this year....the 14th from my family, and I hope it stays blue and white as the tradition has always been. I understand the gender identity issue, but those who identify more to the gender they were not born into can choose to wear whichever color they identify more closely with. Keep the tradition!

Ep just went through the very same thing last week. Wanted everyone to wear red. It was overturned this week because their administration cares about their students voices. What may not be important to one may be to another. Please don't minimize this ridiculous change.

#1. Give me a break. Offer two colors and let the students pick what they want.
#2. No money is saved, I had to pay for my child's cap and gown. (A color they don't want, mind you). The school doesn't pay a dime.
You should be ashamed of stripping 142 kids of their rights for 1 student.

Seekonk's colors are blue AND white, so why not represent both? We are the 50th class to graduate, and I truly believe that everyone should have a right to chose what color to wear on Graduation Day.
