Every since we were freshman, we've all looked forward to graduation. We've been looking forward to carrying out the Glen Allen tradition of walking across the stage in white and teal. The recent decision of Glen Allen administration to replace the beautiful tradition of teal and white gowns, takes away from our diversity and completely removes a very sentimental traditional. Additionally, wearing all teal/black gowns is an eye-sore. The small group of individuals who believe this new policy is essential should not impact our tradition when the majority of Glen Allen students wish to walk across the stage in teal and white.

I understand those for whom gender is not binary. Perhaps a compromise is to allow students to choose between wearing white or teal when ordering their gown.
It's good to keep tradition and changing it to single colors is not going to do anything worth while. Plus, it's just prettier to have the teal and white. We should just keep it the way it is, no need to change it
I’m only gonna be a junior next year but this bothers me so much I have to sign it!
I think white is a better color, and dual colors is better than a solid one color for graduation. It’ll show our diversity.
To take away different color gowns breaks the tradition of our school:( I want to wear my white gown and white dress and the guys to wear teal
