THIS LOCATION IS IN THE MIDDLE OF SEVERAL RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS
CLOSE TO MANY SCHOOLS. MANY FAMILIES AND LIFELONG RESIDENTS LIVE IN THIS AREA.
We must STOP this facility from opening. It will have the capacity to dispense drugs to 800 people, open 7 days a week, and transport people into our towns from more than 1 hour away.

What if any plans for this facility were shared with the community? There are plenty of buildings, including 7200 Chestnut St, the old Bell Telephone building closer to the municipal building in UD if they are interested in a good location.
We literally have two elementary schools and two major parks that our children play in. We cannot have our children exposed to this opioid epidemic . All of us took our kids out of philly so they won’t see stuff like this.
I'm disappointed that I'm just now being notified about this clinic's possible placement in Lansdowne. I've lived here for 15 years and I've enjoyed every bit of it. If this treatment center is allowed to open up, my family and I have no choice but to move out of Lansdowne.
I am opposed to the center being placed in our community. In the past I resided on a residential block where a clinic was located and it was a very unsafe situation for the residents of that community. When reading my comment, please take this under consideration and advisement.
This establishment is not wanted in our community. It will attract a strong negative element in our quiet neighborhood. The residents in the community were not notified and the elected officials or any of the organizational representatives have not communicated with us.
This can't happen .to close to schools .
No methadone clinic in Lansdowne, Delco! Residents will fight this. This clinic would make our struggling community even less safe than it currently is. It will cause property value to decline and, attract more crime and vagrancy which our community does not have the resources to deal with. We will fight this and we will win!

This facility needs to be in an industrial park or a hospital setting where it cannot impact a residential area with children, seniors, schools and the quality of life for people who are just trying to create a good life for themselves.
