Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC has filed an application to re-zone 25 & 27 Rutherford Road, located in Allamuchy, NJ in order to allow the development of a center for the treatment of drug addiction and mental health disorders adjacent to the residential community. We are asking that the town board deny this application and keep the area zoned as it is currently.
We need as many people as possible to sign the petition and to show up at the 7:30pm May 26th meeting, at the Allamuchy Township School on Johnsonburg Road, to voice their opinion.

Ask your Mayor and Lynn Kramer, PVPOA why they meet with the Medical Director prior to the May Zoning Meeting. Why won't they discuss this meeting to the public. So much for transparency!
We do not want this near our residential community. I have had experience with addicted teens, and they most often leave the facility to again score more drugs, steal etc. The sad thing is it a very difficult sickness to cure mentally & physically. The town board should deny this application.
It is in no one's best interest to do any rezoning in Alamuchy. Yes, our taxes are high, but our town, and surrounding area, is beautiful. Rezoning for this, or any other reason, will severely begin to change the dynamic that makes up our beautiful bucolic lifestyle.
A community that yes gated but any can walk in. Our children are out walking playing spring, summer. This is sometimes a first option or jail. I'm all for helping and recovery for those that need it. But not close to a community where you can just walk threw
Panther Valley is a residential community, there are no doctor offices,clinics,businesses or such commercial enterprises.Lets keep it that way, put your clinic in an area where it belongs.
For some reason, this site says I'm in Brooklyn. I'm not, I'm in Allamuchy.
I oppose the construction of this facility in the middle of a residential area. Lots of other empty, open land in other parts of NJ.

I've seen how a facility of this design drove down the housing values of the immediate area and actually raised the crime in process. Allamuchy does not even have a designated police department. How on earth can a rehab facility be even considered before this is addressed?
