The decision to keep the Ardnaree Post Office open is final. This result confirms that our local services are worth protecting and defending together. We must remain attentive as the transition unfolds to ensure this commitment is fully honored.
Ardnaree P.O. has the same catchment of towns like Carrick, Roscommon, Castlerea and Tuam. Do An Post propose to close those offices too? The Ballina office is already struggling to cope with the customer base it has. Adding another 5,000 people to that base doesn't make sense. people will look elsewhere..

It would be a great loss to Adrnaree, plus the older community that can’t make it down town. Limiting their independence.

This post office is badly needed. A lot of the more elderly residents of Ballina use it. It's quick service too, whereas the main post office is a nightmare at the best of times.

This post office is essential for the people who live locally, pensioners cannot be expected to be going across town to the main Post-office where there is no parking, If this Post Office isn't kept open it is going to inconvenience an awful lot of people, It is always busy there which goes to show the amount of people who use it.

It’s vital to the local community that this post office stays open,a lot of people living nearby without transport to go elsewhere and quite a few elderly people and people with health issues in the surrounding area.

It would be a shame to lose this vital community and business service. If it was not here community safety and cohesion would suffer and there would be more congestion and pollution in the town centre.
