Over 20 post offices in the Wrexham and Flintshire area of Wales have been earmarked for closure.
The full list of those affected was released on Tuesday, July 29, 2008.

- Brynford, Brynford Hill, near Holywell
- Carmel, Arfryn, Allt y Golch, Carmel, Holywell
- Gronant, Llanasa Road, near Holywell
- Gwernymynydd, Rainbow Garage, Ruthin Road (temporarily closed)
- Holway, Londis Stores, Holway Road, Holywell
- Lixwm, 2 Bronant, near Holywell
- New Brighton, Bryn Y Baal Road, Mold
- Rhosesmor, Rhosesmor Road, near Mold
Wrexham area:
- Marchwiel
- New Broughton
- Ponciau
- Rhosymedre
- Tanyfron
- Trevor
- Acton Park
- Bradley
- Rhosrobin
- Summerhill

The sheer number of people backing this fight has completely changed the landscape of this standoff. The bureaucrats at the top of the Post Office need to stop treating our local hubs like disposable assets and start listening to the reality of the communities they are gutting.

Marchwiel post office is essential for the older people here who cant just drive into Wrexham town centre every time they need to post something. Leave it alone!
