The Rochester Civic Theatre board finally folded and gave us exactly what we demanded. They tried to ignore us for a long time but our pressure forced their hand. We won this fight but keep watching them to ensure they actually follow through.

The Rochester Civic Theatre board can no longer ignore this groundswell of outrage. We have the momentum now and the leadership team is finally forced to acknowledge that we are not going away quietly.

Volunteer/actor in 20 RCT productions, 16 under Greg Miller. This letter puts to words an airing of grievances that has been bubbling up in the theatre community for a long time. I support this call to action.
Volunteer (actor, running crew, sound/light board, mixer, follow spots) since 1999. I 100% support the contents of this letter and must urge the board to take this seriously. It is with so much love that this is written.
Volunteer. I agree with the content of the petition. It has made me realize that I have been too accepting of the lack of transparency. For too long I believed this is what one had to put up with with small city organizations. Rochester is no longer small, nor is such mismanagement acceptable.
Volunteer/member since 1979. Loved that the theater has grown in size and presence in the community, but not at the cost of losing valuable, necessary creative staff who help make community theatre a joy to participate in. I'm all for transparency! Bring back paid costumer and set designer!
As a non-profit the Rochester Civic Theatre needs to strive for full transparency. Actors, directors, stage managers, costumers, set designers, ushers, and all other volunteers should have access to the bylaws and budget and should be included in the vision and mission of their Theatre.
Volunteer, actress, community member. I support this petition 100%! The Civic Theatre has been a 'home away from home' to many members of the Rochester community, myself included. To see some of the changes that have come about in the past years breaks my heart and I am truly proud to be a supporting member of the group trying to steer change in a positive direction.
I support the petition to the Civic Center Board. These issues were obvious when I was in the Rock of Ages production.

I house managed and ushered for 20+ years. I stopped volunteering due to the issues raised in this letter; specifically, due to way I was treated by Gregory Stavrou.
