Volunteer, actress, community member. I support this petition 100%! The Civic Theatre has been a 'home away from home' to many members of the Rochester community, myself included. To see some of the changes that have come about in the past years breaks my heart and I am truly proud to be a supporting member of the group trying to steer change in a positive direction.

I support the petition to the Civic Center Board. These issues were obvious when I was in the Rock of Ages production.

Contracted costume designer for one year now a volunteer. I agree with the contents of this petition. Hearing some of the stories of valuable humans that have come forward because they feared doing this sooner is heartbreaking. The Civic Theatre is not broken but somewhere along the road it has lost its focus. The people there do great work. The pay is way below minimum wage when you see just how many hours you work. I encouraged Brett to negotiate his salary because that is a professional thing to do. He was not met with professionalism in return. When I was getting paid for my work I witnessed a lot of caring people shut down, turn inward and then stop offering any suggestions. I have really come to love everyone that I have worked with. The mission needs to be reset, job descriptions need to be clear, wages are a very big issue and should be evaluated but my most urgent concern right now is that there are people who have been hurt, bullied and abused. We are a group of creative souls who have always needed a place to feel safe. This is supposed to be one of those places.

I house managed and ushered for 20+ years. I stopped volunteering due to the issues raised in this letter; specifically, due to way I was treated by Gregory Stavrou.

I have done a number of shows and it was the highlight of my life. I stand with the theater I love and I hope there will be a future for the theater filled with opportunities for the members of the community to express love through the art of theater.

I haven't been a part of the Civic Community in some years. But, I don't cotton to his behavior and hope all turns out as it should.
