Many of us have lived at Oceano since the beginning others less than a year but what most of us agree on is management is ill equipped to run this bldg. From the daily/nightly parking dramas, calls not being answered, rude employees and deception regarding the jacuzzi that went on for 2 years, we can no longer pay the kind of rents we pay and accept the substandard living environment we endure. If you want change please sign this petition. When we reach our goal we will forward this to TIAA, the owners, in New York, and demand new management.
The media is also covering the story. Teacher's pensions should not be more important than the lives of everyone living here. TIAA has more than enough money to keep the bldg and carpet clean every day, to enforce leases (non smoking bldg) to keep the gate operating properly, to keep the pool clean, to keep the elevator running as the handicapped are stuck each time it goes down, to sweep, and to hire more security at night yet TIAA and Greystar do nothing to make any of the tenants happy (even content) or safer despite all the crime on this property in the last 3 years.
Every day we see tenants moving out because of Greystar we need to get Greystar out so we can all enjoy our homes.

I am truly stunned by the way this has grown and I want to be clear that this momentum belongs entirely to the residents who chose to speak up. It is humbling to see so many of you standing together to insist on better conditions for our neighbors.

The elevator breaking down all the time is so unsafe for people who actually need it. glad someone is doing something about this.
GREYSTAR IS THE WORST. lived here 2 years and have had nothing but problems with them. get them out.
We pay way too much rent to live somewhere so poorly managed. its embarrassing how dirty the hallways look half the time.
they dont listen to a single word we say. time to show them that we arent just gonna sit here and take it anymore.
Finally! The parking situation is a total nightmare and no one in the office ever picks up the phone. Enough is enough.

So tired of the broken gates and the security issues. feels like we are living in a dump despite the price tag.
