Fellow Winding Woods Tenants!
The management of Winding Woods Apartment is illegally making money out of their sheer irresponsibility to provide us (tenants) the needed services for which we pay our rents. They fail to provide us adequate security, so it is not safe walking on the premises at night. They also fail to give us designated parking spots. As a result, we are left to drive around, looking for parking spots when we return late from work. They have recently started towing away cars, and illegally taking money from us through the towing company. Since we struggle to find parking spots, we conveniently leave our cars closer to our apartments only to realize our vehicles towed away after a few minutes or hours.
Let's come together to fight this illegal practice so that we can at least get back the towing fees. We request they give us assigned parking spots, or they stop the indiscriminate towing practices. We can also consult the state to get some legal backing. Please sign this petition, so we come together for some action now!

Management continues to ignore our messages while the towing trucks keep circling the property. I am currently gathering copies of everyone's towing receipts to build a formal complaint for the city housing office. Post this link on your Facebook page and text the URL to three other neighbors right now.

There is not enough parking and when you park at a place where there is no sign of no parking they still toll your car. An example is me, they tolled my car and the broke my brake light and told me they have no idea how my light broke. These must stop
Thank you Sam. Spoke to the office about this issue and they didn’t seem to care about us. Have been speaking to some tenants and had in mind to do this so thank you for coming out to do this. I am in support of this . We need our assigned parking . I sometimes have to stay in my car till 1am just waiting for someone to move their car and if I don’t get a parking I leave my car anywhere only to wake up and my car is towed. We can’t work to pay rent and pay their towing company. It is not fair to us. Thumbs up for an awesome job. Am sending to all the concern Neighbours. We are in this together.
The management is heartless and definitely don’t care about the tenants. I paid $325 to a contracted towing company by Windingwood. Since we don’t have designated parking spots we are forced to park sometimes a mile away from our apartments. The community isn’t safe since it’ now habor some bad guys, and being a health care worker I usually come home after midnight therefore it definitely difficult to get a parking. My car has been towed twice. I’ve called management several times to at least allocate parking spot for the tenants so we can have a parking space when we come home late from work but nothing has been done. This is really frustrating.
My car was towed without my knowledge for 2days and was forced to pay $ 325 cash, Being a nurse in this covid19 crisis I returned from work late around 1 am and found no parking in around my apartment, so I parked about half a mile away where there are no yellow lines and my car was still towed... I m even struggling to make ends meet yet had to cough $325. I called management but nothing has been done.
Yes this is ridiculous. Especially they did not warn us about the towing. They do not communicate with tenants in regards to any changes being made in the complex

This place is ridiculous. Rent is always going up but NOTHING has changed in the 20+ years we have lived here! People that don’t live in our building park in the lot in front of our apartment, leaving us residents having to park across the street (which can be VERY dangerous at night). People abandon their junk cars that they haven’t moved in months in our lot and NOBODY says anything! Management doesn’t care about us, our complaints fall on deaf ears. No upgrades have been made to our apartment despite an inspection being done 6 months ago & numerous health and safety hazards being found. I think its time us residents come together and file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against this poor excuse of an apartment complex.
