The DSO Authorities finally blinked and agreed to open the community center to all residents. They tried to keep us locked out for long enough but our pressure forced them to fold. Keep a close eye on them to ensure they actually follow through on this promise.

The purpose of this petition is to urge the DSO Authorities to fully open Semmer Villas community center and amenities to all Residents as soon as possible.
The Community Centre is a vital hub not only as a sports center but also for providing a space for people to meet and interact to make new and strengthen existing community bonds. We have never needed the facilities more than now, considering that for most of 2020, we were under lockdown.
We urge the DSO Authorities to provide a clear outline of scheduled works and commit to the official opening date.

The DSO Authorities are still hiding behind closed doors while we are left with nothing. I am tired of their silence so I am escalating my direct requests to their office today.

This was a real hub of the community which has sadly been removed for the current semmer residents. The existing pools in B and D have green mould all over the sides where tiles are missing and could also do with maintenance but not until the big pool has been opened.
We had decided to go for semmer villas considering the fact that it comes with a community center that is free for semmer villa residents. Hence , request you to kindly do the needful and open the same for us , as it nearly end of the year now
I have emailed on a monthly basis regarding the closure of the lap pool. DSO advised 40 days and it has now been over 400 days.
Semmer Villas A56. We would like to be able to use the community facility as promised before we signed the rental agreement. Would you please also consider adding brighter lights to playground near swimming pool area for A&C ? Winter time it gets dark quickly and it’s quite dark for the kids. Please kindly improve the playground for smaller children as well. Thank you very much
This was shown to us by the property agent during the time of signing the contract for the lease. He says it was just closed for repairs and due to safety concerns during lockdown.
Now with UAE opening up there is no reason for community centers not to be opened to residents.
All compund facilities should be accessible for all residents. It is not an option.

We moved here to have free access to the gym while my family could use the pool facilities. The other pools on the community need maintenance but we need to have some alternative facilities to use! This was sold as part of our lease. Please reopen the community Centre to residents
