For parents and carers with limited childcare options, the continued closure of the crèche is a barrier to those who wish to use the centres facilities.
With no date set for the reopen (confirmed by staff 16/1/22), it would seem a significant number of people are struggling to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing.
It's hoped if enough people sign this petition it will both prioritise the reopening of the crèche and illustrate the demand for the crèche facility.

We both didn’t join the gym as the crèche closed. We would for sure sign up if it were open and would transform our ability to get fit again!
Surely if the gym is open all day a creche is required to get max usage !!

I used the gym and classes at least 4 times a week until the crèche closed. I had no option but to cancel my membership. I would immediately sign back up if the crèche was to reopen.
