This goes for all members or potential would-be members of Celtic Leisure, especially those who attend the Aberavon Leisure Centre.
The new £13.4m Aberavon Leisure Centre is a fantastic community resource and is enjoyed by a wide demographic of users.
At present, the spinning room has about 20 brand-new spinning bikes which are off-limits unless there is a spinning class (My Ride) session on, rendering this as a massive waste of resources.
In the interest of members being able to use the spinning room as they please in between pre-planned spinning classes, for individually focussed training, not subjected to random loud music, a MyRide programme or casual conversation.....
....please offer your support so that I may provide CL with a number of names to support my campaign to reverse this off-limits policy that the leisure centre currently has in place for the spinning room and studio.
As winter really takes hold, an affordable indoor facility would be extremely beneficial to local triathletes and cyclists to use on an ad-hoc basis, as well as public members and paying non-members alike.
Please, please.... offer your support!

These are facilities which, as far as my very old memory serves, were originally publicly funded. I get the impression that NPT contracted these facilities out to Celtic Leisure to run. It's only right that they're made available to the public when 'not in use'. CL could actually make a bit more money from it.

Waste of money having good bikes sat there doing nothing while the room is locked up. Just let us use them already!
