Closure of leisure facilities at Skyline - petition to Liv Group from Skyline 1 residents
We would like to ask for a full or partial refund for the service fee we are paying as tenants/owners of the flats in Skyline 1 given the leisure facilities are going to be out of use for at least four months. This is now the second time the swimming pool has been out of use for an extensive period of time in two years. Therefore yet again we are paying for a service we are not receiving.
Although Liv Group have offered the use of the gym facility of Skyline 1 to residents there is no replacement for the swimming pool and, besides, residents of Skyline 1 already had the use of this smaller gym facility. What is more, the weights/ mats seem to have been moved out of the Skyline 1 gym facility and it is more congested since residents of Skyline 2 are using it too. Furthermore, residents of Skyline 1 were not contacted at the same time as Skyline 2 and no apology has been issued. When we signed our lease/ bought our property the swimming pool and leisure facilities were advertised and were one of the reasons we moved in.
We believe that Liv Group have acted in an unacceptable way and that they should offer full or partial compensation to all residents of Skyline 1.

I honestly cannot believe how many people have jumped on this because it totally changes how Liv Group has to look at us now. My inbox is literally exploding with people sharing similar frustrations about the pool and honestly it makes me feel so much less crazy for being this annoyed.

Farcical!! Only staying here for a year and yet for the last four months we're paying for a facility we can't use. Same goes for the zen room and rooftop jacuzzi that was advertised. And the rent is going up!!
Totally agree with this, our flat manager has called Liv who apparently said there would be no compensation. We are considering moving out, knowing that we moved in just for the facilities as well as the services offered with it (massages, spa, waxing etc) that were actually never performed for us!
I have sent several emails and not had a response. I have also heard that Skyline 1 have been offered an alternative gym and not skyline 2. We all pay for the same facilities however not been compensated.
Great idea. We noticed they are using the sinking fund, in the means time the leisure facilities are out of order, why we still being charged so much on service charge when we can't even use the facilities.
As a minimum, tenants should be reimbursed the value of a monthly gym and pool membership. The local gym is Nuffield Health at The Printworks with membership of £47 per month.
I don't appreciate being billed for a service that's unavailable
I decided to move in because of the swimming pool and now I have nothing. Not fair and still paying the service.

I totally support this complain. When we rented the made the decision based on these facilities. Now they are off for the double of time we were told. In summary, unacceptable.
