Exeter University has some fantastic sporting opportunities and facilities which we are lucky as students to be able to access, however many of these facilities are only available on Streatham Campus. Many of the students on St Luke's Campus are members of the gym but rarely have the time or energy to access the amazing facilities available to us after a 40 minute walk. These students pay membership fees from £246 to use the gym, which is fantastic value for all the equipment at the Russell Seal Fitness Centre but the reality is that many people are paying for the use of equipment that they don't access. To support it's hard-working students at St Luke's Campus, the university should be open-minded and realistic about the use of the sporting facilities and make available a separate membership at a reduced cost allowing access only to the local facilities at St Luke's sports centre. We are students after all so our money is precious. If you agree with this, please feel free to sign this ipetition and help support our campaign to give a more accessible membership to those of us living and working away from the main campus.
The administration continues to ignore our messages while happily taking our money for facilities we cannot reach. I am gathering the receipts of their excuses to expose how little they care about the St Luke's student body. We are not going to let this slide until they provide a fair membership rate for our campus.

The administration can no longer ignore the growing pile of names demanding a fair deal for St Luke's students. This momentum proves that the university has been profiting off our neglect for far too long. We are forcing them to look at this discrepancy now.

St Lukes students are being ripped off. 250 quid is way too much when the main gym is basically impossible to get to during the week.

Literally never go up the hill because it takes way too long. Just want a decent place to train near my lectures without paying for stuff I dont use.
