On behalf of the Battlefield High School Class of 2015 we would like to express our outrage due to the change of the 2015 Graduation date. As many of you know, graduation is a huge deal that the students have prepared for years to achieve along with all the hard work put in and the countless hours of stress endured. The change of the date from Friday June 12, 2015 at 6pm to Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 2:30pm has not only devastated the students but also the teachers, family, and friends who must rearrange their plans, schedules, and celebrations in order to possibly attend—what’s supposed to be—a joyous milestone. In favor of the Senior Class of 2015, we ask that you think about all the preparation that has already been put in to efforts to make this day memorable, for not only the graduates, but the Battlefield staff who have worked tirelessly to help and inspire the students to make it to this day.

The school administration remains completely silent while they force families to scramble and ruin our milestone. Their indifference to our graduation is insulting and we will keep pushing until they explain why they chose to destroy our plans.

The school administration thinks they can just bulldoze our plans and expect us to go quietly. This surge of support proves they underestimated the resolve of this senior class and we are not backing down until they put our graduation back on the schedule where it belongs.

i have 6 family Memeber(including my younger sister who is my world) traveling from NC to attend. Not only will they get here Thursday night(June 11th) but they want to take me out June 12th for lunch before the big moment.
i will be traveling all the way from Texas for this event and have another family member traveling from Florida and this date does not accomadate our situation very well at all.
Moving graduation not only affects family plans, but it affects senior check out and finals.
I am a 2014 graduate from Patriot, however, changing their graduation date is wrong, especially because relatives and friends will have to reschedule in order to attend, and siblings will not be able to attend. Graduation from high school is not only a personal achievement, but a family celebration. Change back their graduation date, especially if the sole purpose is "to save money". PWCS is greedy and puts money where it shouldn't go. If it should go anywhere, it's high school graduation.
This date change will make it extremely hard for families and friends who are already committed, to attend. Work schedules, child care and travel needs to be considered with such an impactful change to timing. Please reconsider.
Friends and family will not be able to attend during the middle of the day during the week.

Jiffy lube just confirmed to me there is no concert on June 12th Everyone needs to take this concern to the school and PWCS Wednesday at 230 on hot June day to be rushed because patriot has theirs that night Siblings missing school during Sol and end year tests families not able to come in middle week this needs to be changed It's not fair to graduates families or staff
