We ask that the class of 2027 graduation date be moved from May 29th to May 20th.
This change would mean a lot to students, families, and the wider school community. Graduation is one of the most important days in a student’s life, and the date affects more than just the ceremony itself. It affects planning, travel, family schedules, celebrations, and the many arrangements people make to be there and share the moment. When the date is set earlier, it can help more people attend and make the day easier to prepare for.
We understand that graduation planning takes coordination, and we respect that there are many factors to consider. Still, we believe May 20th would be a better date for the class of 2027. A move like this would give students and their families a chance to celebrate without as much conflict with other end-of-year commitments.
We respectfully ask the school to consider this request and move the class of 2027 graduation date from May 26th to May 20th. This small change would make a meaningful difference for everyone looking forward to this important milestone.
I have work on Fridays and I don't want to call off work because Friday is the day I'm needed most
