Bourton Against Development is a Society that has been formed to campaign against inappropriate, unnecessary and unwarranted development within the Parish of Bourton-on-the-Water and to campaign in support of development where it improves the infrastructure, enhances quality of life and properly protects the environment in every aspect.
The petition is against two proposed developments namely:
The Roman Way development by Bloor Homes
The Station Road development proposed by Pegasus Homes
We want these sites kept as green land NOT destroyed by greedy developers.

NO MORE HOUSING ESTATES. The infrastructure is not there and never will be.
Bourton is a village not a city. Once the green land is gone you can never get it back.
Greedy developers trying to ruin the place for a quick buck. Keep Bourton special.
Enough is enough. The roads are already chocker block and the schools are full. Stop building on our green fields!
Just leave it alone. The traffic is already a nightmare.

We moved here for the peace and quiet. Please dont let them destroy the character of the village.
