The Los Angeles County Department of Public works Flood Control Construction Supervisors are currently represented by SEIU Local 721.  This is the only Division in the Department of Public Works whose supervisors are in Local 721. A community of interest exists within the Flood Control Construction Supervisors ranks who feel we should be represented by the Department's fellow supervisors in CAPE.  Currently Local 721 also represents those individuals whom we supervise. The grevience process can be problematic in that some instances representation is needed for both the employee as well as his supervisor, thereby a conflict of interest arises.  The undersigned represent the community of intrested parties.
