We love our town, but we see the need for an in-town playground where children from all neighborhoods can meet and play all four seasons. Mead Memorial Park in New Canaan could serve as a benchmark.

The town may have some funds, but first we need to establish our interest in a playground.

im spending my afternoons scouting potential park spots around town and looking at what other parks got right. the enthusiasm from everyone has been wild and it really feels like we have a shot at making this happen.

im honestly blown away by how fast this is growing. seeing so many people join in shows that we really need a space for our kids to play year round. lets keep this energy going because the town is definitely starting to pay attention.

Hoping for playground for little ones! My grandchildren visit frequently and Composed is great but overwhelming for my little guys yet!
Please add another playground for our children! Would be great to gave a splash pad also! Every town But westport has one! (Norwalk, Fairfield, Trumbull, Stratford, Bridgeport has 2, etc) Thank you!
Playground on the front lawn of library please!! The breeze from the river is perfect and will attack more to park, play and shop our downtown area!
I've always said it's so strange that there's no open public playground in Westport. Gould Park is another good benchmark.
This has been missing from Westport for a long time! People moving to a town with young kids are looking for this amenity in the downtown area.

This is long overdue. Compo is great, but 1. Parking is terrible, 2. You need a beach sticker to visit, 3. It is often overcrowded, 4. There’s no shade, 5. It isn’t centrally located.
