This petition is to advocate for all of the children and grandchildren of Bridgewater. Children deserve a safe place to play within their own community. A playground would give them a small piece of Bridgewater to call their own. This would also create a space for parents, grandparents, and children to get to know their neighbors within the community. Play dates and childhood friendships will be created here. By signing this petition, you are giving these children an opportunity for their voices to be heard. Children of Bridgewater.. we see you, we hear you, and we value you!
The goal is to submit this petition the the HOA board members and developers. Together, we can show them the undeniable support for our children and the desire to create a beautiful, enjoyable, and safe environment for them to play. Every resident, including children, deserve to feel welcome in the wonderful community of Bridgewater.

When we purchased on opening day, we had asked specifically about a playground for children and grandchildren and were told there would be one. We are all very fortunate to live in a beautiful, well planned community. But now the children do need a playground!! Please make this happen.
Our daughter would really love a playground in our neighborhood. We live in a townhouse in Portside village and don't have space for the swingset/playgym we used to have.
I too bought in this development because it was not 55plus. A decent playground is needed. Perhaps near walking trails. Bridgewater is a wonderful neighborhood and a playground would only enhance it!
The children of Bridgewater deserve a place of their own to enjoy the good life! Just as important as a dog park, bocce court, pickleball court & Happy Hour! Please give our children a playground
Mary and Paul Scholz We choose this neighborhood because it was not advertised as 55+. We believe there is much to be gained by living in a diverse neighborhood with all age groups. Young adults and children breathe fresh air into a community. We older adults have much to give to the next generation. Young children need opportunities that promote health, recreation and prosocial skills in their neighborhood. They do not drive. A playground is much needed in this neighborhood as well as low cost/no cost flexible events that parents and children can attend together. Informal family nights could be an easy way for parents to socialize and have fun.

It’s a shame that developer thinks more of a dog park than a children’s playground I totally support a decent playground vs what they put by the pool which I saw a woman taking her small dog there because she thought was a dog park
