This has been missing from Westport for a long time! People moving to a town with young kids are looking for this amenity in the downtown area.

Great idea. Years ago we donated towards one of the swings at the Compo Playground when they rebuilt it all. Let us know if you will do the same.

There is a need of a shaded Park for the summer for the winter it would be nice to have a park that a lot of parking space - a nice trail rack it wouldn’t hurt for many of us moms that have babies in strollers still and why not a splash area or an area with close gated.

This is long overdue. Compo is great, but 1. Parking is terrible, 2. You need a beach sticker to visit, 3. It is often overcrowded, 4. There’s no shade, 5. It isn’t centrally located.
