The permit for the hotel has been approved and the project is moving forward. It took a long time to get here but we finally secured the outcome we needed for Pontoon. Keep an eye on the site as the work begins.

What a beautiful scenic spot for a hotel would attract lots of tourists. As a Ballina native who has lived in Dublin for 26 years myself and my husband love returning to mayo regularly and are always looking for new hotels to stay in . Pontoon is an ideal location .
The reopening of Healy's is vital for the well being of the local community. I first stayed in Healy's 52 years ago as an Angler. 3 generations of family have stayed there. The plans are ideal for the future
So looking forward to my former workplace 1990-1998 being re-opened and developed . The finest place in Ireland.Best of luck Michael Cusack and partnership in obtaining your planning permission.
A much needed facility to enhance the local area. It will create employment & draw visitors to the area. Derek Davidson Failte Ireland Tour Guide & owner of Walk West Ireland in Lahardane.
Let building commence. This wonderful venue has been closed for too long. This hotel has been part of the community for so long and the fact that it is a man from the local community that is investing in this means even more.
Have been to Heals many times over the last 30 years, please don't do this find some other way.
Beautiful spot in west of Ireland. The new place will bring life to an otherwise sadly lifeless area. Think of the local jobs too. I can't wait to visit when all complete.

This is badly needed in the area for local employment and for all the visitors to have some place local to stay... and as for all the fishermen that ALWAYS used "Healys" of Pontoon .... it is really needed more now than ever.... so please get it up and running ASAP.....
