We are proposing a change of use from B1 Light industrial to C1 hotel use. The proposal is to bring back to life this 1930's factory building that lies in a derelict state in the heart of East London. This beautiful art deco building has been vacant for many years and is not playing any positive function in the community. The proposal for a 44 bedroom boutique hotel will allow for the comprehensive renovation of the building’s façade returning it to its original condition, contributing to the enhancement of the appearance and character of the Conservation area. The hotel will contribute towards economic growth, tax revenue and providing jobs to local people.
