We the undersigned wish to state our support for the Phase 1 (Baseline) Planning Application, submitted by Maidenhead Waterways Restoration Group, to restore and enlarge the side channels of the Thames which pass through Maidenhead town centre into a valuable new public amenity for all to enjoy - whether walkers, families, fishermen or boaters.
We urge the Royal Borough to approve the application and to provide ongoing support to help implement the project, which would turn the current neglected and overgrown channels into an attractive new amenity for the benefit of everyone that lives in, works in or spends their leisure time in Maidenhead.

Finally something good for the town. It looks like a dump right now and could be so much better.
The overgrown mess is a disgrace. Clean it up and let us enjoy the waterways again.
So much potential just sitting there doing nothing. Approve it and stop holding us back.
Yes pls! Can't wait to walk the kids down by the water if it actually gets fixed up.
