I have been reading your stories about what these music nights mean to our town and I am truly humbled by how much this community cares. I never expected this to grow beyond a few neighbors talking about local events, but you all turned it into something much bigger and I am just trying to keep up with your momentum.

for the love of Pete-let Doc's continue to bring business and tax dollars into Silvis. This is the type of backward thinking that drives businesses and perspective businesses out of small thinking towns. Wake up Silvis!!
This is ridiculous!! This is an establishment that has 4-5 events a YEAR. The music ends at midnight. Not to mention the amount of people and $$ the owner brings to the community. He gives back to charities.... C'mon Silvis, do what is right and let this establishment continue to thrive.
I have only been to one outdoor event at Docs, the chicken fry, which helps raise awareness for suicide preventition... If docs is willing to continue to give back to the people in the community, then one would think the mayor would be their with the business owner to offer his own support. Loud and proud.
The Docs Inn is a wonderful establishment raising funds and providing entertainment right here in town. Living within walking distance of these outdoor events, I have never been disturbed by the sounds. The patrons are respectful to homeowners and there has not been any disturbances.
This is the best thing that ever happened to Silvis and these events bring in good revenue and help the staff make money I've worked for Docs Inn and always lived working there this job put me through college to better myself and I would go back to work very for them again
I am and always will be a huge supporter of our local bands and live music....But not when it disrupts an entire neighborhood and shows a complete lack of disrespect the surrounding community. Show me the petition to shut the Doc's Inn down and you'll see the required signatures then.
I live in silvis, and it v would be a darn shame to not allow these events. There is nothing else in this town.

We discovered Doc's will attending one of his great Benefits supporting UTHS and the Craig Curless Memorial...Mr. Mayor as they say your losing a lot of out of town $$$, all the way from Annawan.
