Although the goal of this petition is to show support and hopefully save No Name Sports Bar and Grill, the overall focus is more then that. This petition is a petition FOR the right to operate a small business, its to help protect the right to operate a business within the zoning laws that this business is already operating, and has been operating in, for years. This petition is for the people of sylva to take a stand against a biased system and to show that we do in fact support this business not only for the entertainment it provides but also to protect the basic rights of capitalism.
We the signees below, support Greg Fuller and his dream of owning a place where live music can be shown and showcased, a place where a community can come and eat, drink, and be merry. This place, this dream, is No Name Sports Bar and Grill and we, the signees below, support this establishment and its entertainment.

I have been hearing so many stories from people who consider No Name their second home. Watching the council overlook the history we have built there is exhausting, but your support confirms that we are not going to let this place disappear without a fight.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me why Greg and his team mean so much to the soul of our town. It is incredible to watch so many people rally around a place that has been the backdrop for so many of my own memories.

Gregg is a great guy and runs a fine establishment that gives jobs to good people.
No name is just about the only thing to do in sylva and it's wrong to do this to anyone!
We all need to stand together on this very important matter, and not allow the town to deny Greggs rights under law to operate his business, and not deny our rights as citizens to have a place to attend and have a social life.
Not having live music at THIS establishment not only hurts the business, but also the musicians that perform there. We have to make a living too.
As a past employee and regular, I cannot believe this is even an issue. Sure, we had a few loud customers who had to be silenced, but the music has never been too loud. If this is an issue that forces the close of No Name, what business will they target next?

Maybe you need to make that Church stop having folks sing? What gives them the right to Music and you not?
