Support Charities and Live Music in Silvis at The Docs Inn.

I am and always will be a huge supporter of our local bands and live music....But not when it disrupts an entire neighborhood and shows a complete lack of disrespect the surrounding community. Show me the petition to shut the Doc's Inn down and you'll see the required signatures then.

I live in silvis, and it v would be a darn shame to not allow these events. There is nothing else in this town.

we need more attractions like doc's concerts in silvis not less

The music is over at a reasonable time. The city spend thousands of dollars to put up new signs on businesses and most of those businesses would never pay for a new sign. If we are going to have corporate welfare spread it around. Docs does a good job at having safe and friendly midicaid events. Don't take it away, or is he not paying the right people.

Banning an estblishment for events that supports so many charities, public entities, and private people? Seems like a big waste of energy. Docs has complied with neighbors requests. Why be unsupportive? Ridiculous!

I can imagine the noise and crowds in any neighborhood would be annoying, but this is a community-minded business, and deserves more consideration than just shutting them down after a few complaints. Let's try some forward thinking Silvis!

I currently live in Silvis and I love that Doc's inn has live bands because it's so close to home!!

One more nail in democracies coffin. we no longer have majority rule. As long as one person complains, they will have it their way! Support Doc's Inn!!!

This brings business to the city, I guess they don't care about that for a few nights out of the summer

One residents complaint was after the event, the patrons that parked on their street were loud and left messes. Maybe they can restrict parking on their street when docs inn has events?

I live closer to Doc's Inn that the fairgrounds yet I can hear the stockcars but not the music. If we're keeping the cars keep the music.

I live right down the street from here, love the music. What East Moline can get rid of are the Stock Car Races ☺️

The stock car racing is MUCH more irritating than any event at Docs Inn, and it's every Sunday! Docs brings in a new vibrant crowd with money to spend. City of progress?
