With the recent opening of Ynez, through to Murrieta Hot Springs Rd, and the addition of the Mercedes Dealership, our neighborhood has gotten a LOT more traffic. Now the entrance to the outer Harveston neighborhood is extremely dangerous, as people use Ynez as a detour to the freeway. Traffic does not always stop at our stop sign, which leaves people exiting Harveston in extreme danger.I personally, have almost been T-boned a half-dozen times trying to leave my own neighborhood... WITH MY DAUGHTER IN MY CAR!!! Not only is that intersection unsafe for drivers, there are kids crossing it while walking to and from school. We need to keep our neighborhood safe! A signal at Waverly would be HUGE for our neighborhood. Even if you haven't personally had an unsafe experience at that stop sign, please keep our neighborhood kids safe, and sign this petition. I will personally take it to City Council meetings and try my hardest to have this happen AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Thank you!
