Hello community members, I'm sure we're all aware of the intersection by Frosty's and the Police Station. It's unsafe for our youth and anyone who crosses that intersection, it's right by the middle school where kids frequent after school. Traffic is extremely slow at that intersection and there's not enough precaution for pedestrians. By signing this form, we hope to bring this petition to the city council meeting on April 21st in hopes of spreading change for that area. We want to implement crosswalks between ALL the side walks and light up stop signs to alert traffic of pedestrians crossing. Thank you, we hope you support our change.

Way too many close calls at Frosty's. Needs a light or a crossing guard at the very least.
PLEASE fix this! I almost hit someone last week because the visibility is so bad with all the street parking.
Something has to be done with the downtown traffic!! The city should start my removing the few parking spots in front of Dixon family practice and across the street on the side of Dawson‘s and the downtown rental space. That will widen the street and allow for easier flow of traffic.
The fact that that corner has the police station as one of the corners and it is difficult to cross is wild! The town is growing and its just not a sleepy town anymore. Lots of kids. Lets keep everyone safe.
That has been a bad intersection, and you can’t see cars coming when trying to go across or turn. I have seen people almost get hit there every day. Something needs to be done.
Make it safe for students and the public in general.

That corner is a total nightmare during school pickup hours. I refuse to let my kids walk through there because people just fly around that bend.
