As of October 17th, 2011, The New Town Green Leafe in Williamsburg, Virginia has changed their policy regarding entertainment. Effective immediately there will no longer be any Bands, DJs, Karaoke, etc performing at their establishment. This has come to a shock to not only the performers, but also the patrons who support them.
This petition has been created to voice our collective opinions to Glenn Gormley, owner of New Town Green Leafe. It is our belief that his actions are not in the best interest of the patrons of his establishment; that they desire different forms of entertainment, like those listed above, to be scheduled on a regular basis.
By signing this petition, you are in agreement and formally request that you wish for entertainment to occur at The New Town Green Leafe.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that Glenn Gormley is completely out of touch with his own patrons. We have forced him to acknowledge our frustration and he cannot ignore the reality of this public outcry much longer.

Used to go here every weekend for the live music. Not worth the drive anymore if its gonna be dead silent. Bring it back.
This place used to be the main spot for fri night. Its dead now. Really takes the life out of the whole area.
