Petition to Save Live Music in Skippack, PA
To the Skippack Township Board and Community Members:
We, the undersigned, are Skippack residents, local business owners, musicians, and live music fans from all over the surrounding areas who value the vibrant, community-centered culture that live music brings to our town. Skippack has long been a hub for arts, creativity, and live entertainment, attracting residents and visitors alike. Live music is essential to our town’s unique character, local economy, and sense of community.
We respectfully petition the Skippack Township Board to:
1. Recognize the cultural and economic benefits that live music provides to our town.
2. Ensure live music events can continue to operate in designated venues and during set hours.
3. Work with residents and local businesses to establish and maintain reasonable sound ordinances that respect all community members while preserving our live music scene.
Reasons to Support Live Music in Skippack:
• Supports Local Business: Live music attracts visitors who support restaurants, bars, shops, and other local businesses, boosting the economy.

Met with a local business owner today to discuss the current sound ordinance draft. The pushback is real but we are keeping the pressure on.

I have lived here for over 20 years. I raised my kids here and i own a local business right in the village. There’s no place like Skippack!! I love visiting all the restaurants and hearing live music. Please don’t let a few duds ruin the fun for all of us!!

Skippack has no idea how fortunate they are to have these venues that actively bring people in. In communities like Lambertville and New Hope this is exactly what they lack.

Live Music in Skippack, Pa. is the BEST around, I drive 40 mins. from Cheltenham, Pa. to see friends, dance, eat good food & support Skippack!
