Help us protect a long standing tradition of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Holiday inflatables at the corner of Bailiff Ct and Osborne Rd in Brookhaven! A new neighbor has complained to the city and we have now learned that inflatables need to be 10-12 feet from the public right of way. This means ANY inflatables that are close to a curb are in violation and face risk of a citation. We are requesting a waiver to this code for the holiday months of October-December and hope to collect as many signatures as possible in support of this! If you love the holiday cheer these decorations bring you and your family, please sign!!

This type of community spirit is why we chose to purchase on Bailiff Ct and why we continue to live here. It's heartbreaking that one scrooge of a neighbor can ruin a 30+ year holiday tradition.
We use to live on Bailiff and our children use to look forward to Gary putting his inflatables every year. They brought so much joy to the street and I am sad to hear this is going on…
We love the display. My son and his partner come from Utah for thanksgiving or Christmas and a must every year is to drive by Dr. Gropper’s inflatables. This is such a lovely gesture of joy to the world. Hex on the sour neighbor.
As a resident of Osborne Road, I look forward to this extremely friendly and kind neighbor’s decorations each year. These inflatables are not affecting the complaining neighbor or anyone else. Please leave them for all to enjoy.
we love driving around to see the inflatables. it’s reminiscent of being driven around Atlanta as a child to see Christmas lights, driving my kids around to see lights and now our grands. shame on this neighbor
How tightly do you have to be wound to complain about holiday inflatables? Brookhaven should at least waive the ROW setback requirement for the holiday season.

These inflatables bring so much joy to children and adults. The display should be grandfathered in as allowed to be up for a few weeks between Halloween & Dec. 25. I have driven by over the years on the way to the Perimeter Mall area and never noticed traffic issues as a result of the display.
