As a collective group we've been taking a positive approach towards transforming our neighborhood into a community. Within the last two years we've accomplished the following.
- Bus Line Seating and Lighting
- Adopt a Mile Cleanups
- 1.2 Miles of Road Resurfacing
- Branding and Cleanup of the Chevron Gas Station
There's still more to do. Our safety and quality of life is in jeopardy when 75% of Blair Bridge Road in Austell, is left in the dark at sun down. The lack of proper street lighting affects our citizens at bus stops, children waiting for school buses, seniors taking a leisure walk, walking our pets, runners, and property maintenance.
We need your support. We reached out to Cobb DOT, local government and business owners. They've been supportive of this endeavor but we can't make it happen without YOU! A number of signatures from our stakeholders is required to put in a request for additional street lighting on Blair Bridge Road. The affordable monthly cost is only $3.80 per household located on Blair Bridge Road.

Can we also add SPEED BUMPS? Cars and even 18 wheelers go so fasts throughout the day it’s scary to think they might loose control and crash into our house. Btw why do 18 wheelers use that road when there’s a sign that says no trucks allowed?

We also need to work on adding Sidewalks and cross walks on certain parts.

Blair Bridge is too dark. Parts of it has not side walk. It is an accident waiting to happen. Please add street lights
