We, the undersigned, believe that Wigan Council should not enter into any deal to allow part of, or all of, Ashfield Park to be built on for houses. We want Wigan Council to say Ashfield Park is not for sale. We believe that Ashfield Park should be used for the original purpose - which is to be used for the residents of Standish for recreational purposes. We also want Wigan Council to make a pledge to the residents of Standish and say they will never sell any part of Ashfield or all of Ashfield without getting a mandate from the residents of Standish.   Once you have signed the petiton please do not forget to tell your family, friends and neighbours to support the petiton. If you have a facebook page or other social media site then why not put a link on there to tell people. The more signatures we get means we show Wigan Council that this should not happen.
