Standish and it's road networks cannot cope with any more houses being built. Ashfield Park should remain for children and families to use.

Play at Ashfiedl throughout my childhood. I left Standish years ago but still visit to see my parents. It's disgusting what Wigan Council have let happen to the small market town I grew up in. How many more houses do tehy want to crowbar in?

Ashfield park is for all to enjoy young and old, the park is important to not only the local residents, but to families who have been visiting with their children and now their grandchildren. It is part of their heritage. Leave alone a park being fully enjoyed by all.

I have been visiting Ashfield Park now for over 35 years - When my two Sons were young and now their Sons enjoy the park - Its a place to spend time having a picnic, play football, frisby, meet friends and make new ones - A lovely place to visit during the Summer and Winter months - Enjoying the different seasons in a safe environment - Please don't build on here - Standish has enough houses -We cannot cope on the roads and schools with more new builds!!!

I have been visiting Ashfield Park now for over 35 years - When my two Sons were young and now their Sons enjoy the park - Its a place to spend time having a picnic, play football, frisby, meet friends and make new ones - A lovely place to visit during the Summer and Winter months - Enjoying the different seasons in a safe environment - Please don't build on here - Standish has enough houses -We cannot cope on the roads and schools with more new builds!!!
