The building would be renovated and would include training areas for all of our current programs plus a gym floor that would allow us to add a vast amount of recreational programming for all Rock Athletics members.
The above mentioned additional recreational programming would be made available to all residents of Mount Pearl and surrounding areas as well as we plan on making Rock Athletics one of the premier recreational facilities in the area.
We kindly ask that all members of Rock Athletics sign this petition (more of a declaration of support actually) and where possible share it with your family and friends to help us gain as much public exposure and thus support in the Mount Pearl area as we can as this document will be submitted to Council with our proposal.
Any current member of Rock Athletics interested in seeing what we have planned is welcome to contact us and we will go over the details with you.

The process of preparing this proposal for the council has been exhausting and full of roadblocks. I have spent the last few weeks in meetings trying to navigate their requirements but I am still pushing forward because this facility matters for our community.

Rock Athletics makes a positive contribution to the community. Our daughter has benefitted greatly from the caring instruction she has received there. Expanding Rock Athletics' programming capabilities will serve as a great asset to the people of Mount Pearl.
Being a citizen of Mt. Pearl, I ask for and support Rock Athletics proposal to city council, for use of the Mt Pearl Swimming Pool . They are a great teachers and leaders for both children and adults.
Would love to see Robbie Wismen expand his business because of all the excerising classes I have done I find this one to be the most fun and more result. I have told people about this so with a bigger place more people can enjoy it like I do.
Enhancing available recreational activities and facilities in the city can only benefit residents, especially our children/youth. Rock Athletics has demonstrated their commitment and ability to provide excellent recreational services so they have my full support with this initative.
This is a valuable service provider for the community. Having a facility that best suits their needs will benefit current members, but perhaps more importantly allow more people in the area the opportunity to enjoy quality programs, nurturing activities for children and fun events for all ages.
For all it has accomplished to date, Rock Athletics is sitll in its infancy in terms of what it has to offer the residents of Mount Pearl. A larger facility will bring only good things to the City and its residents.

This organization has done fantastic work, producing first rate recreation programs, despite very limited facilities. Allowing them access to a more spacious and eventually better equipped building would let them provide even more fantastic amenities to the city.
