Dear Fellow Citizens - The city of San Diego Planning Commission is ignoring Proposition A, and approving big development without regard for public opinion. Prop A was voted into effect by the people of San Diego to protect our "Open Spaces". Big developers have retained high powered attorneys to twist the law into their own hands. Protect your rights! This petition will start the process. There is currently a project called Rancho Del Mar Retirement Community. Our city officials have given big developers the "green light" to build more than 220 condominium-like units on only 20 acres. Prop A gives people a right to vote on this development. This is an agriculturally zoned area (AR 1-1), allowing 4 houses, not 220! Act now or it may be too late. Protect our "Open Spaces" and your right to vote!
