We the undersigned are asking Anderson SC County Council to not rezone 1730 Whitehall Rd Anderson SC. The building of anything other than housing or farm will put an even further strain on the 2 lane Whitehall Road. The congestion and wrecks already on this road are high. Please hear the voices of those this will effect and not simply those whose familes do not live here and companies who are run by CEOs who live in other states. This is will jeopardize living for those who want to live near our schools and protect our children. Please if you will place your physical address in the comments section. I don't want anyone to be able to say those who signed don't live here.

Updates

October 14, 2016

The momentum behind this petition proves the Council cannot ignore us anymore. These out of state CEOs think they can run over our community but they are dead wrong.

This is NOT the neighborhood for a strip mall! Look at all the houses around--and keep the businesses on the main road. That's why most people chose this area to begin with!

The last thing we need is a strip mall. It will only end up being another ABC store. We've got enough of those.
