This petition is against rezoning a 1.11 acre property at Pines Golf Course, 5050 Byron Center Ave. The request is to have this property zoned from R1 to R4 (residential) and there would be duplex(es) built on this land. This is the woodsy area behind Easy St. off Byron Center Ave. Neighbors within 600 feet of the property were sent a letter regarding a public hearing which is scheduled to be held at Wyoming City Hall on August 18. We, the signees are against building on this reason as reasons given:

*Property Value could decline

*Traffic

*Privacy/Scenery

*Many of the neighbors purchased homes on the S side of Easy St because there were no neighbors. The golf course is quiet, and we would like to keep it that way.

I have been reviewing the zoning maps and preparing our arguments for the upcoming hearing. Post this link on your Facebook page today and email your city representative to demand they protect our current neighborhood character.

The message behind this petition is clear and the momentum is growing because our community refuses to let this land be rezoned. Post the link on your personal Facebook page today. Email your city council representative right now and tell them the woods behind Easy St must remain undisturbed.

I am definitely against any rezoning in this area. This is a quiet single family residential area and I want it kept this way. Lots of wildlife use these woods. Every year deer have their fawns in these woods and we enjoy the solitude. Turkeys and fox are here as well. People bought their homes here because of the golf course behind us and the woods being there.

2211 Ancient Dr, SW, Wyoming,MI 49519. Absolutely NO!!! We do not need more rental property near our subdivision and increase traffic. We have seen a huge increase with the development of the Metro Hospital area.

Adding duplexes will decrease our neighborhood property value, increase traffic and potentially increase crime. Do not rezone!

5322 s pine slope ct. Wyoming , mi 49519 Opposed to rezoning. Develop as zoned. Home owner / Tax payers values should Not be at risk due to a desire of one property owner to exponentially increase their gains from developing their property.

Zoning proposed is actually R-3, not R-4.
