We are bringing to your attention the building owner’s decision to eliminate concierge service for evenings and weekends. This poses is a security issue and elimination of package tracking and deposit into the collection locker (among other inconveniences). At the same time, most lease renewals have a 10% increase attached! More money but less services??? We have generated this petition to be delivered to the landlord asking them to reverse their decision.
Without evening/weekend concierge coverage, the building feels eerie and I do not feel safe at night. The lack of staff presence is not consistent with a luxury property, especially given that rents remain at luxury levels.

This is an unsafe change. The hours between 6-8 people are coming home from work and calling for deliveries. We depend on our front desk people.

The building has been forgotten about and neglected. We have managers who come in a use the facilities for their own needs while on company time. Doors left broken specifically both of the G2 side entrance’s so any random person can walk through them and access the building. The head of maintenance refuses to work with females, so if my apartment needs work done to it I have to have a male’s present or I will be told “that’s just how it is”. The only 2 people who were tolerated by the residents here were let go. They fired the wrong people.

We renewed our lease in August with the understanding that there was concierge service in the evenings and weekends. This is unacceptable, a safety concern, and an inconvenience.

The rents and fees we pay are high, and the amenities and services that were advertised are not being maintained properly, repaired or cleaned in a regular basis. The staff is incredible and have done the best they can to keep up with such a large building. They are short staffed, and unfortunately most have been let go, during the holidays. Many of us have also kids in the building which poses serious security risks.

I agree that for the extremely high prices we pay for rent for the area, services should not be cut. Part of why we recently renewed our lease was an understanding that services would not be impacted, reduced, or eliminated.

Has there been any news on this? This snowstorm was a disaster and the building is not being properly maintained at all.
