Beginning January 1, 2018, the Lookout Canyon Creek HOA Board has decided, without a vote by the homeowners, that parking ANY vehicle on the street for longer than 24 hours will be considered illegal. After 24 hours, your vehicle will be towed at the homeowner’s expense and a fine of $250 will be imposed by the Lookout Canyon Creek HOA Board. Furthermore, homeowners will be REQUIRED to seek approval from a board member should the homeowner have overnight guests. We, the undersigned, demand a special board meeting for the homeowners to be heard and, subsequently, vote on this unreasonable policy.

I have three sons at home that drive and five cars in my family… These neighborhood garages were not Designed to fit cars that can hold 5 to 6 people… Only so much driveway space… Shame on the board
Please remove this policy. I agree that parking on the street is a hassle, but this decision needs to be discussed. I will not reach out to a board member for permission to have family stay over and park on the street. Absurd.
The problem is with a select few homeowners or renters. The more professional approach would be to deal with the few problem homes. The other question is how realistic is it that you will know which cars belong to whom and at what cost will all this monitoring be?
This is a portly thought-out solution to an already uneenforced policy. It cannot happen without a 24-hour patrol (cost?) consistent policing of each home (to avoid discrimination,) proper documentation of every single vehicle on the street, knowledge of members of households and consistent, equal enforcement. This is a portly thought-out solution to an issue that applies to a small percent of homeowners
I have a three car garage, three cars and overnight guests here and there. I would hate for them to be towed after 24 hours. 3 days seems much more reasonable. Thanks

I feel that we as home owners have no rights at all when being dictated by some one who has no regard for our needs and reason for using the curbside parking. I feel that there should be resolution to the policy change by giving our feedback and voice as home owners. I would like to be present if possible to voice my opinion on this matter. There should be a limit to these drastic changes done with out our vote on policy changes of this sort.
