This is a petition by the homeowners of Crescent Shores, located at 1625 South Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The signatures below are from concerned homeowners requesting the following from their Board of Directors:
- Immediate recall of the current parking policies, including the termination of the barnacle supplier and barnacle enforcement companies: Barnacle Parking and Park Guard.
- Immediate refund of all fines to homeowners and guests that had their vehicles immobilized by the barnacles.
- The creation of a "strike" parking policy, giving parking violators at least 24 hours notice via vehicle decal or ticket, prior to enforcing fines or vehicle immobilization. The revised parking policy will need to be presented to the entire membership prior to implementation.
- Adding proper notice/signage on all parking that is dedicated to homeowners.
- Reassessment of the 2 parking pass maximum allotment per unit. Consideration of moving maximum allotment to 3 passes or returning to the "parking pass per bedroom" policy.
- Relaxed onsite parking restrictions for vendors performing maintenance calls.

The Board of Directors can no longer ignore this wall of opposition as our movement hits a critical mass of support. Those suits at Barnacle Parking and Park Guard are terrified because they see exactly how many of us are ready to tear down this predatory policy. We are not backing down until every single one of those fines is refunded and these thugs are kicked off our property.

My guests were terrified when they saw their car immobilized. It looks tacky and makes Crescent Shores feel like a prison. Get rid of them!
total nonsense. my plumber left cuz he couldnt find a spot to park his truck. stop making it impossible to get repairs done.
We need a warning system like normal hoa's have. nobody should get fined on the first mistake. so frustrated with this board.
This barnacle thing is a total scam. Imagine coming to your own condo and finding your car locked up. Unbelievable.
Two passes is not enough for a three bedroom unit. We have family visit all the time and this policy is just greedy.
