the city finally gave us the green light and the pool is officially reopening. i am honestly so stoked that we pulled this off together. cant wait to see everyone out there cooling off soon.

Ask the city to please reconsider opening the Wells pool! If your willing to help us come together and change this, show up June 8th or sign the petition if you cant make it there.
If you want to continue social distancing no harm, stay at home and be safe! If bars and restaurants can open again our small community pool should be able to too!
There's no better way to spend summer than a good way to cool off. We need something good again!

The pool is a place for all the kids to get together and have fun during the summer and keeps kids out of trouble! People from all of our smaller towns like kiester, freeborn, Alden, etc come together at this pool!
Please open the pool. Our kids have had so much taken away from them already and forced to add more screen time to their day then they already were doing because that’s how they needed to learn. I want them to be able to get out and be kids again
If it's safe to open and $ are needed could we get creative with fund raising? Maybe this could be the year that we open to all children, even those whose families can't afford to have their children go. What an incredible show of community and valuing activity! We're in this together.
I have been resident of Wells for 6 years and I would like my wife, 5 year old and 2 year old sons to be able to attend the pool this summer. I am well informed on the Covid 19 pandemic from sources around the world and feel it is safe for my family to attend the pool if it opens
Opening the pool will provide not only provide children And families recreational activity time but employment for lifeguards who have dedicated numerous summers working for the pool.
OPEN PLEASE
No reason to keep the pool shut!!! Give the kids someplace to go you took all other activities away!!!

Having grown up in that town for most my youth! The pool is the one thing children/teens/young adults look forward to. The town is already small enough, just open the pool. Just follow a maximum capacity. Take temps if you have to and don't let anyone in who is experiencing symptoms.
